I look at it every day! Do you have a sound file?

I can record a quick one when I get back in town a week from now. It's currently set up for classic style, so light nylon strings, period bridge...

$1550. I won't go any lower - this banjo is too nice and I'd rather keep it.

I get back late tomorrow. As far as the sound quality goes, it sounds like every other original Tubaphone that I've owned. Not sure if that helps or not. They tend to be pretty consistent. I can still record a short clip with my cell phone if you'd like.

You don’t need to, I can search youtube. Though I think I’ve only heard a tubaphone with steel strings on it. Either my type M w/ eastman neck, or someone else playing theirs at a jam. After playing a friends at a jam, and getting my type M, I have been looking for a nice tubaphone, but want to setup with steel.

Ok, well I'm back in town now. No reason you couldn't put steel strings on this banjo.
