While in USN in Memphis in 1965, I bought an Ode Mod C from Paul Craft (RIP) and with friend Steve Lord took lessons from Paul. I had it with me in DC, CA, Alaska, Vietnam, Philippines, and In Portland, OR where it was stolen. It had #93 stamped inside back, snow flake inlays. I had all metal parts except brackets hand-engraved in P.I., including name Bob White on armrest. Frets were replaced in early 1976, and it was stolen same year. Later my wife bought me a Baldwin Ode 6505, but I sure do miss my sweet C!
