I'd like to experiment with bridge weight and it's effect on tone. I want the only variable, within reason, to be bridge weight. I will swap only the bridge, and play the same banjo with the same setup, and see how bridge weight changes to tone.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a bridge builder that allows you to specify weight? Ideally I'd like to get 4 bridges of the same design and material, maple bridge with ebony cap, but with weights that vary from about 2.0-2.4 grams.

Mike Smith could be your guy, and he might even have suggestions for your particular banjo and sound needs: https://kateyzbb.com/
