I'm looking for a wooden armrest for an Ute 12" Standard Banjo I just bought, which has 14 brackets. Looking at different ones I'm finding online they say they fit 11" banjos with 24 brackets. Will those not fit the Ute? Looking at their design it seems like it wouldn't matter too much what dimensions the banjo is, but I wanted to ask here. Thanks!
Zach Hoyt will make you one for a very reasonable price.
I will add that an armrest that was built for a different rim size and different number of hooks might not work without modification. And if it does fit, the curve of the armrest might look funny on a larger pot.
+1 for Zach Hoyt. I have one of his on a Vega tenor. I wanted it to sit as closely to the tailpiece as I could get it, and he worked with me on detailed dimensions to make it so. Great person to deal with.
