Good dark, early, and damp morning from Kingston, Ontario. It's 17C now, going up to 25C later, with showers. Painting (not ours): Manly MacDonald, "Harvesting". oil on canvas.

Have a great day!

Morning all....great day down here in NEW jersey coming...... Now Paul that's the hay I could handle even at me old age. Those photos stop me in my tracks for days gone by when you'd see hay wagons going down the road...and the smells in the barn yard ........sigh

Good morning, all!
Remember what I whined about, yesterday... drains clogged?
Wasted maybe 3 hours trying to snake 'em out.
Today, I poured the prescribed amount of drain cleaner in, am leaving tho house for several hours, to let the chemicals chaw through whatever's in there.
Followed by boiling water.
And if that doesn't fix it, I'm calling a REAL plumber.
Alternatively, I could wash my hands, and the dishes, in the bath tub.

Manly MacDonald painted lots of farm scenes. He might even paint one and give it to the farmer. (Most of his work was done on site.) Our M.M. painting is a winter scene, but there ae snow-covered haystacks in it.

One of my earliest memories is of the field outside a house we stayed in near St. Donat in the Laurentians north of Montreal, and a big haystack.
