After clearing out my mother inlaws loft I came across this banjo. There are no marks and it's a little worst for wear. She didn't know anything about it, it seems to belong to my late brother in law as it has his name on it.
I would be appreciate it if anyone has any idea of the brand?
Could you add a full front pic of the peghead & a good side view of the body ?
Other photos that will be helpful;
Close up of back of the peghead
Remove resonator (loosen the screw-in the back to remove) and take a few close up pictures.
Also; What area of the world is the banjo located? The banjo's region can be considered when we try to ID it.
This is a new brand of banjo ukulele to me, most likely British. Contact the people from the above link, or contact Theukuleleman. They will have a better knowledge of British labels.
OK thanks tdennis for your help, I will get in touch with them.
Whatever the brand or maker, that is a sharp uke. How does it sound?
Not sure yet Bill, I've ordered a bridge and some strings, hopefully delivery today. I play a uke so really looking forward to trying it out!!
