I recently sent Chris an e-mail about an inlay problem that I'm having on my Williams Kenny Ingram banjo since he did a lot of work on it a few years ago. However, I got no reply.
Today I looked him up & found a post that he was on sabbatical & wouldn't be available for any banjo work until 2024?!?!? This shocked me since I have another banjo that I wanted the tone ring fit correctly & Chris is the one to do it.
I wonder if anyone has talked with him recently? I hope he isn't sick or anything, just on an extended vacation. If anyone has knowledge, please post or send me a private message. Thanks.

Sounds like he is in college, or jail! Lol. Just kidding
I haven't been able to find his "tone lab" youtubes lately either. It's like he just disappeared.

I wonder if Russ Carson can enlighten us. He knows Chris well.
I talked to him several times maybe couple or few years back and he was having health problems then. And had had some surgery I cannot recall. Didn’t know he wasn’t back up to snuff, hate to hear that. A fountain of knowledge and a sure enough talented craftsman.
