Is it just my Mac or does the TablEdit Banjo sound horrible on your computers? I have searched for ways to improve it but haven't found any answers. The guitar sound is pretty good.
I see many people touting the use of it but I can't get past it sounding like a broken birthday horn. I have the full version on my MacBook Pro. It sounds just as bad with TEFview on my iPad and iPhone.
Great tool if it just sounded a little less than annoying.
Ha, I agree! I've thought the same thing. You would think we could load an actual sound sample...other programs will do this, but it would be nice to have that ability in TABEdit.

The midi banjo sound in TablEdit is terrible.
I've heard some other midi-based players with banjo that sounds more like banjo. Can't remember what software that was.
I don't know if this is programming or sound capture done by the makers of TablEdit or if there are instrument sounds that developers can buy. I'll admit, I don't know how instrument sounds get into midi format.
I found potential solutions for windows users but haven't found any for Mac users.
Micheal, can you share potential solutions for windows users?
Can't seem to find the actual link but it has to do with midi drivers and soundfonts.
