I'm a 4 string guy but am helping someone local to find new homes for a few instruments. I would appreciate a "reasonable" valuation for this Luscomb. I've done some searching and reading of past posts here and have a guess but would rather hear it from the people in the know with the current market and condition of this banjo. I will be offering this for sale for a fair price to find a good home. If interested please message me. I'd much rather find a Hangout member before going to other marketplaces.

Here is some info about the banjo. It is 11.5" with the wooden tone ring and 26.25" scale. The head is split, looks like a replacement tailpiece, missing 1 hook and nut, missing the 5th string tuner, and looks to have a repaired heel crack.

Thanks for your insight and help.

With the labor to restore (not a ton, but enough) and price for parts, plus the previous heel repair I probably wouldn't pay more than 400. 5 if I really wanted it. You may be able to get more than that as these are pretty popular at the moment, but that's where I'd value it personally.

Put a neck scoop on it, it'll look super cool and maybe even increase the value!

Don't put a neck scoop in it. It will decrease the value. These are really good banjos. They sound and play well. Yours is a very low end model. The only difference between it and the higher models is inlay and carving. They all play the same. I would say $300 would be a fair price.
