I love it Doug! It even looks like your little brother was in on it!
When me & my little brother were around that age we were in our dads brand new 1967 2 door Ford Galaxy 500 going to grandpas cottage. We stopped at a rural dairy to buy cheese curds . Brother & I sat in the back with our dog Scamp.
He liked curds. We were amazed how fast he ate them. Dad wasn't too impressed when he threw up on the back seat!
Around the same age at the cottage I was to keep an eye on him down at the dock. He went to step into the rowboat tied to it. Typical cartoon style, the boat went out & he fell between the boat & the dock. He had blond hair then & when i pushed the boat back out I could see his hair swirling under water. I grabbed it & pulled him out.
Of course he started screeching & everyone came down & asked me what I did to him! Good Times.
At about that age we were playing cowboy and outlaws. Our little sister 4 at the time wanted to play with the 3 of us. We told her no till she said she would be the outlaw. Being good cowboys we arrested her, found her guilty and sentenced her to one of our dog pens (prison). Our favorite tv shows came on so we went in to watch them. MOM came home found her and not wasting a lick spanked all 3 of us. Then my not so bright sister goes " what are you so mad I put water down for her". Second round of spankings. True story, it was fun till mom came home.
Happy sibling day
I’m the 4th boy and the 6th out of 7 kids. My next older brother introduced me to folk music, the Kingston Trio and banjo..., my younger brother played goalie for hours while I fired slap shots at him with a tennis ball. My sisters told me to brush my teeth and comb my hair.
