A few years ago I saw an ad for a unique style of banjo strap. They were made by a husband and wife team. Somewhat similar to a slider strap, but instead of an X brace going across your back and shoulders, it actually brace itself against the small of your back. As I am getting older I find it harder To stand for any length of time playin an 11 pound banjo. I have tried different types of straps but to no avail. If anybody could remember the crafters who made the straps I’d be very appreciative.
Thanks,
Rick
Rick: Didn't find where to purchase, but wanted to confirm if this is the style you are seeking? https://patents.google.com/patent/US4630763A/en

I believe the company was called Fifth Child. I tried this strap for a brief period, then sold it. My gut caused the banjo to tip forward. A thin person might have found it quite useful.
Here is my old ad... Fifth Child Strap
