Good morning from dark and cool Kingston, Ontario. It's -11C now and will rise to -3C during the day. Another day to figure out which songs are best suited to the 12-string, and which banjo to use for a particular medley.

"It was forty years ago today" that the Mrs. and I went to see Kate and Anna McGarrigle at Convocation Hall at the University of Toronto. The opening act was a very witty and engaging Connie Kaldor, whom we saw again last fall. I gave Connie a copy of a photo I took back in July of '81. It's one of my favourites, in part because of that blackface J-45.

Have a great day!

Good Morning! On my second cup of "Special" weekend coffee. It's raining now which is good to settle in the grass & micro clover seeds I broadcast on our moss lawn yesterday.

Here's a picture of Sombreo beach looking towards Sooke.

Good Morning from clear and sunny North Woods. Yesterday I figured out how to attach vinyl siding to cement block foundation so guess what I am doing today. Tomorrow the contractor is showing up to put up the new deck so by Wednesday we will have a larger deck with resin decking and legal metal railings to replace the rotten wooden one. Looking forward to sitting out there with coffee on summer mornings. Maybe some adult beverages later in the day.

Good morning from NE Ohio. The air is crisp and the sky is clear. We are celebrating a birthday and a work promotion today.
Happy days to all.

Glen, sounds like a great way to spend the day. Hope the new deck project goes as planned, you sure live in a beautiful part of the country.

Friday's rain did a good job of washing the winter rock dust off everything.
Didn't even freeze last night with the cloud cover, +4C now.
Good day, everyone!
