Kind of like this one, Fig? (Actually I posted two because on the small photos I couldn't tell which one was the Stevens ...... love them both).

PS: Good shooting Fig. I let my son use mine as his first squirrel rifle.

I call it a rifle...not sure what you mean by marksman...

It's what some would call a boys rifle....

John the pic on the right is closer to it..
Mine has an under lever..
Another name fer it is a drop block..

As it is not a true falling block..

Yep ...... the one on the right is the "Sure Shot".  I always called it a falling block but I think you are right, maybe a drop block.  The rifle on the left is a Remington, also a youth rifle.  I think these little rifles are so neat.  I would like to find some more but I don't see them too often.

The perfect weapon for Concealed Carry, as it's almost impossible to see!

Nice thing about single shots, is that a box of ammo takes a lot longer to shoot up, eh. Brad

Terry .... my wife and I we awakened at 5:30 in the morning the other day by a pack of coyotes yelping like crazy.  They couldn't have been more than a 100' from our window in the woods adjacent to our house.  I have seen them many times in and around our neighborhood but only at night.  I've got a Speedmaster too with a scope.  I like it because it wall also shoot shorts.  My Ruger 10/22 will not.
