There is (or was?) a great Italian restaurant in Toronto called Grazie. One time the Mrs. ordered a seafood dish. When I was offered grated cheese on my meal, the waiter was about to walk away when the Mrs. said she wanted some cheese on hers, too. The waiter said, "The chef does not recommend cheese on that dish." She made it clear that she wanted the cheese on hers. She got it.

I'm siding with the Italians on this one. Cherry tomatoes ruin anything.

But I really liked "the worst thing to happen to Italy since Super Mario tennis"!

I don't care for the "one-pot-glop" style of presentation.
Probably didn't even make their own pasta.
Should have been spaghetini to begin with.
I vote for pasta Alfredo. Two side dishes = green pepper strips and cherry tomatoes.
First, let me go foraging at low tide for the meaty parts.

Since the Italians didn't invent the tomato, I'm not listening to any of their advice regarding that fruit!smiley
