Just scored a sweet oldie... Lyon And Healy "Star". In great shape, but missing some brass wire inlay on headstock and neck... And about half of the nuts are wrong.. I saw a different headstock design posted in one of the archived posts, So I figured I would post it's brother... Still waiting for UPS to bring it.. Now I get to try and find some Unobtanium nuts...

Fixed it.... I was looking through a repair manual for my Hodaka Ace 100 dirt bike right before posting this... :)
Here is a shot of the whole bracket/hook/nut...

All of the info I have so far comes from an archived post here... banjohangout.org/archive/326276 This is my second oddball Lyon and Healy.. I also have one that has an almost identical double spun pot, but without the fancy lugs n nuts, with a neck from a "Mystic" that was sold through Montgomery Wards as a "Windsor"..

Arrived today.... Love it.... The neck has quite a bow in it, and a bit of a twist.. Gunna try and fix that tonight... I would like to attempt to replace the missing scroll work on the headstock... It is a strip thin brass sheet cut super narrow, then layed on it's side and set in... Took my thumbnail and cleaned off two inlays... I like the copper lines... Tailpiece is cute and tiny... Glad I don't have to try and find one pof these... :)
