Short story:
I recently acquired a Chuck Lee 11" Chautauqua (2007) open back banjo. Before I got it, someone swapped out the Silver Bell Jim Stull (JLS Tone Rings) for a Little Wonder.
I'd like to return the banjo more towards the original spec. Chuck also tells me the Rickard Silver Bell will require a modification to fit the banjo.
Any advice as to where I can find a suitable replacement?
I know bupkis about bluegrass banjos
An old Silver Bell would be cool on my Chuck Lee if it fits, though...
