We had a foggy start to the day, a bit unusual in summer this far inland and over the range. Temps have been 14-36C (57-97F). Have a bonzer day/evening.
Good morning from the shore of Lake Michigan. Yesterday was sunny and about 30F. Lost most of the 2 inches of snow that had been on the ground. We're expected to get a storm coming across the lake. We'll see, it isn't promising much!! Have a great day everyone.
Good morning from chilly Kingston, Ontario. It's currently -15C, supposed to get down to -18C before rising to a balmy -6C during the day. At last, some cool weather! Warm winters are a threat. We've had warm weather when the fruit trees have blossomed and then it turned cool again and we lost a huge percentage of Ontario's apple crop.
Thanks for starting the thread, Chuck! Great photo. I wouldn't want to get stranded in a blizzard there. Really neat pics, Chris.
This is what we woke up to on Saturday - cutting down trees at Art's & Linda's house, with the noisy wood chipper. Plus the house next door (we're the little house beside the big house - Robert runs a funeral home), and the tree shadows in the back yard - long shadows when I finally took pics about 1:15 p.m.
Have a great day!
Good Morning to all of you out in Banjoland from snowy frozen tundra. Most of our snow was gone yesterday but got about 4" last night. Should have a lot more by now so hopefully we will get more to put some moisture in the ground for crops.
I got my appointment for my first covid vaccine shot this coming Tuesday morning.
Have a great day, keep safe, keep warm, Go Pack.
Good morning indeed..... good and cold. [Although this screenshot is showing colder than our back deck thermometer.]
Makes retirement look good, although I tip my toque to those that have to work in inclement weather. Y'all have a good day.
10 deg here in upstate NY but at least the nasty wind has subsided & there is a bit of sun .
Good morning! We were supposed to get snow last night but woke up to fog! Happy about that!
We'll probably get the double whammy tonight! 2cm. will throw us into snowmegedon!
7-10 days of real winter = -10C/+15F highs, S breeze and no fresh snow.
Light out and continuing light out until dark. We can seen the snow evaporate, day by day.
