I ordered two sougayilang tele. poles. just the poles 6'7". The youtube videos look promising. I got some good reels to put on them. Just hope they fit in my bikes top box. I could put them across the handles bars.

You might consider getting some thin wall water pipe, glue a cap on one end the put a fitting and screw in plug on the other and strap it to your bike with zip ties. Schedule 40 pipe is strong and almost indestructible but heavy so suggest thin wall Schedule 30 PVC tubing. I have 2 of these that I use to carry fishing rods in the back of my truck. Most rods will break down to 4' so a single 10' piece of pipe will work and cost about $10 at Menards. The fittings will cost more than the pipe.
For $20 you get almost indestructible rod cases and don't have to buy collapsible rods.
