I am planning on selling this banjo through the classifieds here if anyone is interested. I am trying to determine a fair asking price? I mainly play clawhammer and this beautiful banjo just sits in its case. This one sounds great and deserves to be played. I have never seen any past sales of a Jerome Foor banjo. Foor was a builder from Bedford County, PA. I believe he only made around twenty banjos total. This one is no. 14. Made in 1985. It is in excellent condition. No wear, scratches, dings, etc.

I will take the resonator off in the morning to snap a few more photos of the tone ring.

Must of been friends with Bob Rock. I see a lot of similarities in their banjos.

The inlays looks a lot cleaner on your banjo though.

I was about to say the same thing about the Bob Rock connection. I say that based on that stamp inside the resonator as well as the locality. That's a lovely banjo. I wonder what Jerome's story is.

Since there were only about 20 of these made, a sound clip would be very helpful. I love Bob's banjos.
