I just learned from a family member that Curtis has been rushed to the Hospital in Nashville. They don`t know if it is the cancer, he has been fighting or something else. They thought this may be the end for him..Will let you know if I hear more.
Hate to hear that ....... will keep Curtis in my prayers!
I hope he pulls through. He's a very nice fellow.
Wishing Curtis all the best.
Any further news about Curtis??

Just to follow up on Curtis. He is still in a Nashville hospital, and not doing well at all. He is in a coma-like state and does not know or spoke to anyone in a few days. They have called the family in to be with him. I think he and Wilma only had one daughter.
I know there are grandchildren and perhaps great grandchildren.
I had wanted to pay him a visit, but the epidemic got in the way.
Please let us know if there is any change.
so sad ,,prayers for him and his family
I enjoyed Curtis for making that ten string.
I emailed him ten years ago, he took the time to respond. A real good guy.
One of the very few remaining first generation bluegrass musicians. Curtis is the real deal...I’m upset to hear of his illness. I hope he can pull through and somehow recover. Prayers sent.
