I've always wanted to make a pair of Sasquatch shoes & stomp around in fresh snow out on the hiking trail out back.
There was a guy around here that was 6 foot 6" that had a fake fur suit made up.
We called him the Sookesquatch. He'd walk around at night in the campgrounds.
He'd get shot in Oklahoma!
... but... but.... but... how they gonna stop somebody from trapping one somewhere else and smuggling it/him/her in "under the cover of darkness," just to collect the doh-rey-me?
.... just like havin' to donate pop cans and bottles to grandkids living in jurisdictions that pay more. Not sayin' that I know anybody that would do that , but...........

Deposits on cans and bottles here is 5 cents. When my sister was moving out of her house they had several dozen cans and bottles. My very enterprising nephew, about 6 at the time, set up a stand in front of the house while they were loading the moving truck and sold returnable bottles and cans for 3 cents each. He sold out to the first customer who was on his way to the store to cash in his own bottles.
The private & government beer & liquor stores only take 24 cans or beer bottles & a few bigger bottles because of covid. They give 10 cents a can. If you take them to the recycle depot you get 5.
Now various charities set up at a good location here in town on the main drag. The recycle depot gives them the whole kit. The tent thing & the big bags & sorting tables & they get their cut.
I'm good with giving them to charities rather than collect the little bit of money you get for them!
