Before I purchase an Elliot capo, I would appreciate reading owner's comments. Comments on the advantages of specific models, ease of use, effectiveness, customer support, etc..

If I buy one, I will definitely "keep an eye" on it. They are not inexpensive. About $130 for the basic model. A Shubb capo works fine on my banjo, but the Elliot may work better on the guitar.

I think Shubb and Elliot are equivalent. I’ve tried them both, but the Shubbs are somewhat less expensive. They both do the job! My first capos were this elastic and plastic jobs that cost a couple bucks and worked ok. Now we’re happy to pay the big bucks! Look forward to your review of your final decision.

If you lay out the cash for one of Elliot's capos, I recommend that you get the "push-button" version.

Much easier to put on and take off the neck, than are those with the tiny "u-clamp" at the end...!
