I'm new to the banjo and want some advice, please.
The pegs on my Morgan Monroe banjo are mother of pearl coloured (plastic I presume).
I noticed today, that one of them is cracked and spinning on the peg.
Can I purchase these heads separately (meaning a pack of 5)?
And are they a standard size that fits on the peg?
Thanks

Yes, Andybanjo.com or brown dog banjos or eagle music. Look at the shafts though, they aren't all quite the same. Andybanjo would advise if you sent a picture.
Andy (not from Andybanjo.com!)
You can also purchase sets of 5 on eBay. Since those mostly come from China, there might be a better chance that they fit the tuners on your Morgan Monroe banjo. Some of the listings for these buttons include the dimensions of the holes, so you can see if they match the shaft on your tuners.
Search eBay for "banjo tuning machine buttons" or "banjo tuner buttons".
Good luck.
