Can anyone point out the differences between the good time Americana and the artisian except for the color I don’t see the difference

I’m no expert but I believe the Americana has upgraded tuners and has spikes at 5th, 7th, 9th.....plus it is stained dark.

I think the Americana also has a 12”pot. The Artisan is 11”.

There are several differences between the two lines of banjos, the overall stain, a midnight maple stained seperate fretboard on theArtisan, and planetary tuners. The American is a standard Goodtime with a 12” rim. There are several models of the Artisan series has several models.

All that has been stated above plus the Artisan has more expensive inlay work on the neck and peg-head.
