As the Orpheum No.2 I am bringing back to life will not be played for whatever reason that I do not understand, I need a 5th string peg to fit once I dig out the foreign wood plug someone put in long ago. As the existing tuners are the original friction ones I would like to place a matching original 5th string peg..

Hoping that someone has one hanging around left over from a geared tuner upgrade...

Thanks!

It might help if you posted some pics of the tuners you have.

You don't want a tuner with a black button if yours are cream colored.

I have uploaded somewhere here that shows up on the page as attachments, but am unsure how to attach them to an entry or reply... banjohangout.org/forum/attachm...ID=267959

I'll give this a shot. Cream is definitely the color to match... good point. Thanks!

You might check with Bernunzio or Bob Smakula. I might be tempted to put a Gotoh 5th on there but then I want function over form.

I would check with Bob Smakula. If he doesn't have what you are looking for you could put one of these on it.

Probably a close match to the original.

Thanks!

If all else fails that is the way I will go.
