When I try to join a meeting on my laptop, the message says "INITIALIZING", and the meter shows the progress. BUT! When it gets to 52%, it starts over at 0, runs up to 52%, and starts over. Did that 32 times, in rapid succession, before I gave up and shut down the computer.
Sent a request to the ZOOM help site, got a computer-generated response that said they were too busy to respond with anything specific.
So, what do any of YOU guys & gals know about how to get past this?
Would a BFH be of any use.

Ask them something general then. They're probably too busy because their product is not very good, has a bazillion security issues, and has (sadly) become the de-facto standard.

I was in the MOOD to try a Big Friendly Harpoon, by the fifth or tenth time the meter flipped back to ZERO and started over!
Don't have one on premises, and not sure where to stab the laptop.
MAYBE the spare DESKTOP monitor has a built-in camera.
Costs me $0 to dig it out and look at it!
PS:
Kirk Douglas could actually PLAY the tenor banjo, and the Disney folks had made one from a turtle shell for the 20K under C movie.
