Found what I need. Cancel ad

Looking to buy a Flinthill FHB 280 or similar banjo in nice condition. Trying to keep price around $500. Must be willing to ship or be within an hour from Pinehurst or willing to meet 1/2 way for face to face transaction.

From the ones ive seen sold on marketplace and craigslist $500 seems to be the going price for a used flinthill of that model. The Recording Kings will bring a higher price. As far as price is concerned depending on the condition, case and whether or not it has been altered with through the years will determine a agreed upon price. I dont mind paying a little more if the banjo is above average condition.

Thanks. I have messaged them 3 times with no answer. I imagine they are on vacation or have sold it already.

I was thinking Flint Hill Special was the Gibson Earl Scruggs + ebony fret board & gold plated. Apples & Oranges? What exactly is a Flinthill FHB 280?

Flinthill was pretty much a copy of the Recording King. Theres several posts about these and an explanation as to how these were created within the banjo hangout. Some good and some not so good reviews. Yes Gibson did have a Flint Hill Special model. And itvwas very expensive.
