What key was that in, Doug? C dischordant?
I used to know a banjo player who was practically deaf. His banjo was often tuned to that same tuning. And I'm really not kidding about that.

That was awesome, I never thought about tuning that forth string down to a bflat (or there abouts) it adds a certain something to it lol..

Doesn't tuning the "B" string down provide a modal sound ? I play "Home Sweet Home" just about every day. That keeps my reverse rolls "up to snuff".
No offense intended, but I like the sound of the tune better with that "B" string tuned normally. Wouldn't using a "Bb" create a "C7" sound ? The 7th chord is usually used to create mental tension before a chord change, and resolved when get to the next chord.
As far as music theory goes, I am self taught and could be wrong. And like the original post wrote, it is an experiment.
Sorry to be the odd one out but, that just sounds dreadfully out of tune to me !
The experiment was to see how many people say they liked it without listening to it. You all must have listened to it because you all noted it was out of tune lol.

Yep, that banjo needs some tuning. Other than that, your picking is fantastic.
