I'm posting about around half of what I'm doing this Halloween. There will be SMOKE added.
Here's about half [i.e. my half] of what my wife and I are doing.
She will apply the coup de grace by handing out treats to the little blighters on Sat. evening.
* = Hallowe'ens are usually pretty quiet around here.... anywhere from 40 to 120 trick-or-treaters in this part of town, although some get +/- 3X that. Dunno what to expect this year, given all the moronic hype being offered.
One of our daughters lives just south of Edmonton, AB. She says that "all the stores" there are sold out of pumpkins. She also included this tidbit [although I expect some will see no humor in it]:
Wow Gregory - that's some show you're putting on. We've only got a handful of kids in my village but this year we are writing Halloween off. its not such a big deal over here but the kids do enjoy trick or treating, but what with covid, we're going to stay home, eat lots of sweets and watch a scary movie.
Working on the outside today
We haven't had more than 5 trick or treaters in the last 35 years, but it doesn't stop me from buying 10 lbs of Halloween candy, just in case.
haven't had a trick or treater in 30 years,, but a bag of twix always come in handy any day of the year!!!!
