Ok, I'm new to this business, so I'm just kind of trying to get as much attention as possible. Also, I enjoy writing stuff like this, so that's where I am...

Anyway...

Lemon Banjos is presenting the Centenarian Series of banjos. The Centenarian Series includes the CL-10, CL-30, CL-40, CL-50, and the CL-G. This series of banjos is meant to honor the design of bluegrass banjos from nearly 100 years ago (Centenarian means "object that is 100 years old").

Standard features of the CL-10 are:

  • Dark stained maple neck and resonator

  • Rosewood fretboard

  • "Seagull" inlays

  • Fiddle-cut headstock

  • Cream binding

  • Hard maple block rim

  • Large diameter brass hoop (flathead style)

  • Nickel-plated parts

?

Standard features of the CL-30 are:

  • Red Mahogany neck and resonator

  • Rosewood fretboard

  • "Diamonds and Squares" inlay

  • Double-cut headstock

  • Cream binding and concentric rings

  • Hard maple block rim with LR-54 integrated wooden tone ring

  • Nickel-plated parts

Standard features of the CL-75 are:

  • Red mahogany neck and resonator

  • Rosewood Fretboard

  • Double-cut headstock

  • Cream binding and concentric rings

  • Nickel-plated hardware

?

In honor of the old RB-75s of the prewar Gibson days, the CL-75 does not have a standard inlay set. The pictures show

  • Seagulls fretboard with Fleur-de-lis headstock

  • Leaves and Bows fretboard and headstock

  • Flying Eagles fretboard and headstock

  • Leaves and Bows fretboard and Diamonds and Squares headstock

These inlays can be mixed and matched to your preferred look.

Standard features of the CL-40 are:

  • Natural burled walnut neck and resonator

  • Rosewood fretboard

  • "Flying Eagles" inlays

  • Double-cut headstock

  • Cream binding

  • Purfling concentric rings

  • Hard maple block rim with LR-54 integrated wooden tone ring

  • Nickel-plated parts

Standard features of the CL-G are:

  • Sunburst curly maple neck and resonator

  • Rosewood fretboard

  • "Flying Eagles" inlay

  • Double-cut headstock

  • Cream binding

  • Hard maple block rim with LR-54 integrated wooden tone ring

  • Gold-plated hardware

Standard features of the CL-50 are:

  • Natural burled walnut neck and resonator

  • Ebony fretboard

  • "Wreath" inlays

  • Fiddle-cut headstock

  • Pearloid binding+purfling

  • Purfling concentric rings

  • Gold-plated hardware

?

All of these photos depict computerized likenesses of banjo models. Although they are very accurate, they only represent the real banjos.

Are sound files available?

Sound files are sort of available. All of the banjos above have not yet been built. However, I have sound files for ones I HAVE built. One my website under the "Showcase Videos" tab, you can find a video of the Lemon 1, which would have the same sound as the CL-G.

In response to your post on the Midcentury Series thread, the ML-500 will have the same sound as the Lemon 1, and the ML-100 and ML-150 will have the same sound as the video showing the banjo I converted to one of my rims.
