I can't wait!  I love Ben's playing, the way we moves between scruggs and melodic, the tasty backup, and just how beautiful it is.

It will be a welcome addition to the banjo tab world.i used to eat up tab books when first learning until i started slowing stuff down and tabbing it myself but if his book has a lot of personal input added to it then that right there makes me want to get it.

I wonder who the publisher is and when and where it will be available?

I would be great if the book included the recordings for the tunes. I would pay extra for the recordings. Maybe the people holding publishing rights could create and sell that CD. If well done, I think it will become a "must have" books for lots of banjoists. Even if a person doesn't want to learn to play all the tunes, they can still "steal" licks.

Pretty sure that would have to include royalies of some kind. I would be satisfied with "as done on xx song on zz album. I probably have everthing the Scene recorded anyway. Just personal input, a window into the way Ben thinks is more what I'm after.

next to scruggs,, ben was my biggest influence when i started out,,, i cut my teeth on the foggy mountain banjo album,, then i got a copy of the seldom scene act 1 , 2 and 3 and sat down and listened to it and knew i had found my muse.
