Foolin' around a little bit with my 5-string Dobro that Tut Taylor gave me in 1975. It was made by the Dopera Brothers (DoBro) in the mid 1960s as the prototype for the "Hootenet" . I played it on the recordings I made with Leon Russell and on some cuts on my Rounder albums, but also used it to collect autographs, as it had never had a finish applied to it.
Sounded good Butch.
Cool song, playing, and a great Dobro prototype! Never seen one, photographs or otherwise...
