I have a 1989 Gibson Granada ser num 8901-11. I was told that Sonny Osborne had owned it at some point and was wanting to confirm that or deny that information. I have pics. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

FE Granada 8901-11 was assembled on January 30, 1989.
While many of these passed through Sonny's hands (he was more or less dealing them) and shown as such in the assembly notes, this one does not have a customer listed and so it is indeterminate as to whether or not it went to Sonny.

On this serial number does the 11 refer to the number of Granada’s made to this specific date?

Thank you Frank. I wanted to tell you that I lived in Chattanooga in the mid 70s and worked with Tom and Mary Morgan on a number of shows. I enjoyed reading about your rich history with banjos and bluegrass music. Thank you for sharing on this forum.
