What tuning and roll pattern is Leah Song using?

The song is in the key of A, so I guess the tuning is open G with capo och second fret. The chords are mainly A, D and E, to a large part played up the neck. From the sound I think they are playing with bare fingers without picks. I don't think the exact roll pattern is of importance in this song - the banjo play the harmonies and not the melody, so you can experiment yourself with different rolls.

I came to the same conclusions about the key and the chords as Janolov. It does sound to me like the notes are up the neck, but notes an octave lower in the 1st five frets shouldnwork as well.

Works. Thanks. Our eldest granddaughter has a wonderful voice. She will sing, I will play as, coyotes flee when I sing.
