Anyone tried online lessons for Irish tenor banjo? Are there any sites that people use in particular for these sorts of things? I have been learning myself using Enda Scahill's book and just copying people on youtube/at the sessions I go to but thought an occasional lesson might be good as well. Do you guys agree with that mentality?

Cheers

I took the course at oaim.ie/tenor-banjo/

I found the lessons with Lisa Canny were excellent and easy to follow. However when I progressed to the more advanced lessons with Paddy Cummins I struggled to follow him due to his strong Irish accent.

Agree on OAIM. I started there with Lisa. I'm now taking Skype lessons and have joined the Riley School of Irish Music in Cincinnati. They're doing lessons by Zoom now while shut down. I miss going in person, but it's still fun.
