Geoff is getting inducted into the American Banjo Museum hall of fame. If anyone wants to hear the whole Stelling story, I spent a day with him hearing it-
I had him go into a good bit of detail, especially about the wedge fit design. Also interesting to people is where he gives us a tour of his shop. I hope you like it-

I just found out this weekend that Stellings are made less than 45 minutes from where I live. I guess since I can't afford one I never really looked into them enough to find that out. :-)
Congratulations Geoff Stelling. An incredible contribution to the banjo fraternity.
Stelling banjos have given enjoyment to so many players over the years and will continue to do so and into the future.
Stelling may seem more expensive, but they are all the banjo a player needs. You won't have to buy another banjo.
I own a 1979 Super Star in like new condition. It is something else, really. Gorgeous timber, a joy to play and what a sound. Geoff's early Banjos are something to behold. When did you last see a Star Flower or Super Star for sale ?
Geoff Stelling is a true legend in the Banjo World and like so many other proud Stelling owners, salute Geoff's World leading Banjo's and his friendly, always available way of doing things.
10/13/20 Congratulations to Geoff and many thanks to everyone that helped make his induction possible! I have known Geoff and Sherry for the past 4-5 years and visiting with them is always a highlight and awesome joy! Geoff is the ultimate host at his banjo shop! His banjos are every bit as good as their reputation touts and will continue, in my opinion, to compete and compare with any of the top five banjo makers globally! Additionally, his records of manufacturing for identifying linage of Stelling instruments is second to none. It is an honor to know him and may God bless him and family!
