This is Ruby a golden retriever. Born in late July. She has now lived here for 21 hours. It takes a little adjustment on all fronts but so far it's lots of fun. Ruby replaces Emma who left us in December 2018.

Cute as a bug and I'll bet she'll be a handful until she's about 2 years old. Enjoy!

Now let's all grab our banjos and sing along  with JIMMY BUFFET

Stepped on a dog turd!

Uttered a harsh word!

Messed up my sneakers, that cost me so much!

Horrible smell, and I'll never tell- - -

I cleaned 'em with my girl-friend's tooth- brush!

She is a very pretty little girl. And, the species is renowned for their wonderful personalities and intelligence.

My cat seems to dislike other cats, but is curious about dogs. If it isn't too rambunctious, my cat doesn't hesitate to approach a dog.

Great pups. Our next door neighbor have several large dogs the only one that's worth anything is the lab it's a great dog. Enjoy the new family member!

Brad, dogs help keep us grounded, for sure. I hope Ruby is as big a part of your life as my cattle dog and black Lab.
Bless you for making a difference in a dogs life.

Cute little one. English Cream? her ears hint at a darker color to come. My girl (now 6 yrs old) is dark gold almost red.

Golden Retrievers are a family oriented breed laid back when they get older. Labrador Retrievers different breed is also family oriented but just a little more active. Both great family pets. But I prefer the Lab only because of the length in the top coat.  My dog now (a road side puppy pick up)is a breed called Wonder,it the latest designer dog and it’s call a Wonder because I Wonder what mix he is.
And I’m pretty sure if he ever misses a meal he will Wonder.

very good looking pup by the way. Got caught up in spouting my preference and completely forgot to comment and extend congratulations on your new furmily addition.
