Hello, dear banjo players and friends!
I would like to show you my last work - this is my rendition of an old bluegrass song ) I was learning this song about one year or more and finally I made record if it! Can't still play it as fast as Earl Scruggs, I'm so sorry crying

I used a beat which was made for me by our local DJ shasuii. He did just a little part of the main beat and then I arranged it to the whole song and tried to create a modern sound.

I played acoustic guitars by myself for this song, played banjo and sang vocals, and now I also learning how to make mixing and I used all that I knew while I was making this song) I wanted to make a bluegrass but as usually I create something strange, I think it's because I live on the opposite side of the Earth and still don't have another bluegrass musicians near me lol, just had a dj for this song lol and my own fancy )) I like the experiments and that's what came out of this song - I call it "modern bluegrass" ))) Hello from Uzbekistan , Tashkent city !blush Banjo is forever my love even if I live on the other side of the Earth heart

Here's the attachment mp3 for listening the song blush

Sounds great! Very smooth and I like the arrangement. It's got a good beat you can dance to as well. ;-)
Thanks for posting.

Don't think your accent is an issue. If I had to point out anything, it would be how you pronounce the "o" in Molly, probably different because of the phonetic differences in our language. My maternal grandparents were from Sweden and there is no "j"sound in their language, so jelly and jam were always "yelly" and "yam". American English is a mixture of many different languages, which I suspect makes it challenging to learn. Your playing is great, as is your singing. I always enjoy the songs you post here on the HO, and I suspect many others do as well. It's great that, despite being the only banjo player in your country, with the internet you can quickly reach thousands of of other banjo enthusiasts and share your music with us.

The musicianship, arranging and engineering are highly creative and effective. Janna's use of changing musical elements and mixing techniques gives a fresh, original perspective to the song. A very satisfying listening experience.

There's a Country/Western song with the title
"CLOSE ENOUGH TO PERFECT".
Don't worry about your accent.
It's close enough to perfect, AND it sets you apart, just enough to add to your charm.
