Beautiful PB-11 with Sound Clip in Classifieds. This is an exceptional banjo! The honey-colored resonator is really striking and the banjo sounds incredible, even without a full-weight tone ring.

Comes with the original walnut plectrum neck and beautiful matching 5-String neck built by Rob Smith. More details in add:

Thanks for looking!!

A real beauty at a reasonable price! Well done not cutting the rim for a tone ring. If I hadn't recently bought a Kel Kroydon 11 I would buy this one. Amazing how good they sound with no ring. Someone will be pleased.

REDUCED! A really great banjo! But I guess times are tough.

When Rob handed this to me after installing the neck, he told me: "John, don't cut it!"

In Rob's honor, there is a special bonus for anyone who buys it and makes that same promise.

John -- it's a real beauty. Folks should note the wisdom of your having stainless steel frets done, to greatly put off the need for a refret with a pearloid fingerboard. If I didn't already have my own Style 11 done by Robin in much the same way, yeah, I'd want this one.

And it wasn't just you who got the "don't cut it" advice from Rob. He said the same thing to me when I called to tell him I bought mine as a tenor.

Thanks Janice!!  Definitely, the stainless steel frets on this banjo are a bonus. I have already had to dress the frets on my other 11 (that has the standard frets). And Rob was really adamant about not cutting these banjos. But then again, he worked on so many and knew what right sounded like. He was such a great person with a very unique sense of humor!! We will miss him!!

This banjo went to a very deserving caretaker from the Nashville area! I can't wait to see it in the videos! Thanks for looking!
