I grew up on PP&M and know their arrangement. Give me about a week to get down to it. I will try to keep it straight forward and once you understand the arrangement you can dress it up.

So far I have listened to Dylan and PP&M to refresh my memory. In my silver years I tend to force things into a cycle of fifths to smooth them out even if they weren't written that way. But that is the folk process. I have found Ukulele arrangements that retain the harmonic of Dylan's Open tuning with its minor feel. PP&M 's rendition had more of a major feel. Back with you soon.

This is straight out of the PP&M songbook but it is the Dylan script. The melody is slightly monotonous. I understand why it was so crutial to add Mary's harmonies. I tried to end phrases wiith scruggs style riffs. Adding a 7th at transitions would sound more like PP&M. They had a tendency to take the rough edges off of bare bone songs and make them more palatable for the masses. Enjoy. The Tab is in the archive.
