Does anyone know a good tenor banjo chord-melody style tab book of children's songs/nursery rhymes. I like playing with my four year old but the lack of songs is proving difficult and I don't have the experience (or time...single parent) to create them from melody.
The Book of Kid Songs - A Holler Along Handbook by Nancy and John Cassidy. Also comes with a CD.
Wee Sing and Play by Pamela Conn Beall and Susan Hagen Nipp.
Those are the two I use and they're great. They have lyrics, chords, and basic melody musical notation. Not banjo specific but they work just fine if you already know how to play.
