Is it Boehm or Albert?

It is a Boehm system clarinet, with an extra key, similar to this “Full Boehm System” Bb, shown at the bottom of the page on the following site:

Most Bb Boehm system clarinets only have four keys on the lower register, right hand side of the clarinet. Buffet-Crampon still produces clarinets with this extra key:

Instruments other than banjos have been advertised in the “other instruments” section.

Contrary to your post, there ARE persons who are interested in more than banjos!

It is NOT my prerogative to regularly post non-banjo items on the Hangout. My list of SOLD ads reflects this.

I had no intention of spamming.

I know full well that the Banjo Hangout is not the preferred place to put such an ad, but there is absolutely nothing that says a member in good standing CANNOT post an ad (once in a while), for something that is not a banjo, as long as they don’t do it all the time.

I thought there would be less chance of my getting scammed, if I posted it here.

If the moderators had thought my ad was spam, this topic and the ad would have been hidden or deleted already(?)

The “Other Instruments” category is there for a reason, so that something which is NOT a banjo, can be listed there.

From the Classifieds/Swap Shop Rules:

“The Banjo Hangout provides the Classifieds system and the Swap Shop forum as tools for people interested in buying, selling, or trading banjos, banjo-related accessories, parts, services, and other musical instruments.”

Price reduced to $380 obo, for a quicker sale.

If anyone just happens to want to purchase the clarinet, shoot me an offer.

Evidently banjos are thought of as unattainably superb instruments.

I am sorry I thought of posting this in the Classifieds at all.

Buffet made some top notch clarinets.
If it wasn't for clarinets and the adaptation of banjos for use in early jazz, there might have been no banjos built after the 1930's.
Luke, don't let one guy get you down.

It struck me as a bit upfront.

I try not to get upset unless there is a reason; Overhere’s comment annoyed me, but nothing like other nasty comments from a very self-centered member who insulted others besides me, who refused to agree with his point of view.

Just so everyone knows, I have no less respect of Overhere, than I did before I posted the Classified.

Final reduction to $325 obo. I’d like to get the clarinet sold and the ad closed quickly.

I will remove the ad by tomorrow at 8 am, if there appears to be no interest between now and then.

I do have a prior interested individual (outside of the Hangout), and if I don’t get any interest on here, I’ll probably sell it to her.

It’s amazing how persons can justify spending upwards of $1,000 on a banjo, but “can’t” afford to be interested in a clarinet, which by comparison is much lighter and quite a bit easier to store/hold/carry around.
