Hello, friends! As you know, I'm still the only one banjo player in my country, I feel like banjo ambassador here, people didn't know what banjo is but I become more and more popular with this instrument in my country and people started to be interested in what I'm doing, so I tell them about banjo and American bluegrass music ) I gave interview some days ago for the local Uzbek Korean YouTube channel, told them about my banjo story and played a song) I made backing track for it by myself (played guitars too) ) and made my banjo cover version for it) I have interview on Russian language so I cut the video where I just play and sing that song live and I want to show it to you. I need your opinion, I'm the only banjo player in my country so it's still not easy for me to learn how to play banjo right, but I try to create my banjo arrangements and I don't know does it sounds like bluegrass or no for you)))) I just love banjo music and I love to play it) Will be waiting for your comments )

It sounds great to me, and I ain't that easy to please. So, in my opinion you do not need to worry about sounding like anyone or anything other than yourself and your music. Keep it up !

I got Dolly Parton on her banjo vibes from this. Banjo playing and singing sounded great to me!

You can try sticking a 3rd fingerpick on the ring finger, facing backwards, that you can use for the frailing to match the volume to the picking. I saw Pete Seeger do this first who used to mix styles alot.

Great job, Janna. You are a one-woman band in several different senses, and I admire your talent and industry. Keep it up!

All right now!laugh Them five strings tie the world together and make it a little bit smaller!

Good job.

Janna rocks. This all is real 5-string banjo playing, finger-picking and clawhammer. It's all, right. yes
