The few times a customer has asked for a case to fit a short scale banjo with a 10" rim, I have taken a TKL 8938 case and added extra padding around the perimeter of the rim area.

There are no cases available that meet your criteria, so modification of an existing product is your best bet.

Thank you Mr. Bob
If you don’t know of one then ...

Not enough pony banjos out there to create a demand I reckon.

You could investigate A style mandolin cases.

I don't have specific recommendation (I use a gig bag for my a-scale, 10"), but mini-electric guitar cases are about the right size if you can find one that works. Bob's tenor case solution may be the best available.

Hey Eddie,
What are you putting in there?
I've got few of the tenor 11" tweed TKLs that do a tighter job than any others I've found (for 10" a scales). I also have a couple ca. 1880s coffin cases that I've yet to refurb but will be perfect.

About 8 years ago TKL did make a batch of tweed cases that had extra padding in the rim area, so they fit a 10" banjo decently. Could be Blake has a a few from that batch.

I recently purchased a Richard Brown Travel Banjo from a Hangout Member.

It has a 10 inch block rim.
