I invite all members to see my BHO ad for my newly invented banjo attachment named "Banjo Rescuer" in the "Banjo Accessories" section of Banjo Hangout. This new invention (which is not patented so you can easily make your own if you prefer) sells for only $20 plus 8% tax and $1 shipping and is unconditionally guaranteed to improve the sound of your banjo. Banjo Rescuer is taped to the inside surface of your banjo's wood rim (tape, which is widely available, is provided) where it captures surface acoustic waves of wood which are analogous to the music, amplifies them by the physics principle of "constructive interference", and converts them into audible sound to mix with and improve your banjo's normal sound. Total audible sound energy in the banjo's sound chamber is increased which increases volume, and harmonics are greatly amplified which improves sound quality. Another benefit of Banjo Rescuer is that it is easily moved so you can try it on all your banjos. It comes with easy to follow instructions. You can read more about how it works at out website by clicking on the link in our ad. We also make guitar and fiddle "Rescuers" which use the same idea but are different in construction and application.

This is interesting. So there are things that David L. Day didn't think of!
Frank, could you put together a demo video using an openback?
I will eventually put a demo on my web page of me playing my Gibson tenor played open back (which I prefer) and my Baby Taylor 3/4-size guitar with 4 strings tuned GDAE. I'm hoping that one of my customers will send me a recording or video to post using a five string open back, but the product was just introduced and so far I have only sold three banjo Rescuers and one guitar rescuer. One new five string banjo customer said that he would send me a 5-string video demo to post. on the website so I'll post it when I get it. So far all feedback from customers is very favorable and none is unfavorable.
Thanks, Mojobanjo. Now I see how this works.
I just added a side view drawing of "Banjo Rescuer", with explanations of key parts, to my ad. It should be a big help in understanding how Banjo Rescuer creates beautiful sound from your banjo. Be sure to click on the photo to enlarge it so you can read the print.
If you also play fiddle know that I just added a video to my website showing how "Violin Rescuer" is installed in a violin.
One of our customers has recorded a video playing, "East Tennessee Blues", on his Gibson (or Gibson style) 5-string banjo with our "Banjo Rescuer" installed. So you can hear its great sound quality. The video is on the "Demos" page of our website which can be reached at GeigerAcousticDevices.com and through our ad under "Banjo Accessories" at: banjohangout.org/classified/82694.
