If you are looking for your first irish tune to play ,look no further. I actually got this version from a good fiddle tune banjo player ,Billy Anderson, who lives in eastern Va.The Kesh Jig is as bouncy an irish tune as there is, and its not that difficult tom play! Its mostly single string with just a dash of melodic thrown in. Its in 6/8 time(1-2-3-4-5-6,1-2-3-4-5-6,etc.) Just make sure to hold those tied notes twice as long and youre good to go. Heres a link to a version of it. The places I put chord changes in might not be exactly as you see on the video, but they work . at least thats the way I learned it.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBK-xqC9u8E
