I just completed my at home visit with a UHC nurse.
She stayed an hour going over my life and medical history and a physical.

I passed all tests and had a good time conversing.

United Health Care called me a week ago and upgraded my coverage to include dental and other things. They work in conjunction with the VA as far as sending them all my info and their own recommendations.

I love my health care system!

I sometimes think that the social contact and conversation
is some of the very best medicine there is.

I like those kinds of medical plans. You go get stuff done. Financially stress free.
Home visit, huh? Lucky you. No home stuff here. Gotta get to our little hospital,
it includes the Dr clinic (3 of them) and the pharmacy rents a space. One stop shopping.

Every couple of weeks, I go to the pub on Friday for my usual fish & chips and one pint of dark ale.
I take 3-5 examples from my salt collection to taste. I sit at the bar, same stool every time.
Visit with the bar staff and servers. There are no pills to match that experience.

I don't check my sugar on a daily basis.
No cholesterol.
The nurse tested my urine and found out lots of things.Said everything was fine.
My fat count was 21.5 whatever that is.

One time a couple of years ago a friend of mine with diabetes tested my blood and said I had a "perfect" 85.

When I first heard from United Health Care I refused their house visits saying that my VA doctors were doing fine by me and I didn't want to make any changes..They convinced me that they would be in direct contact with my VA doctors at all times so I allowed them to visit me last year for the first time.

They just wanted to make sure I was as fully covered as possible. Now my "Team" is bigger and better than ever.
