I am saddened to have to let everyone know that our dear, sweet Nancy has passed away. I contacted her daughter to find out what I could and here's here e-mail to me:
Mom has shared some of the posts from that group with me for many years, and she enjoyed her friends on there. Please feel free to share. She suffered a massive heart attack and was gone very quickly so she did not suffer.
I know she would want to wish everyone well and to carry on with music as she loved it so very much, I know she is playing instruments in heaven and entertaining everyone!
I know many of us will miss her interesting posts and pictures of her eclectic cabin.
Rest in peace, Nancy, knowing you were well respected and loved.
I shall miss Nancy....
Very sorry to hear this. I enjoyed Nancy's kind demeanor and the way she found joy in such simple things in her life.
Nancy always brightened my day, so sad to hear she's gone. Her spirit lives on. Rest in Peace Nancy
That is so sad, I'm glad she went quickly hopefully surrounded with all the things she loved.
I know she is at Peace now surrounded by Pure Love and Pure Light. I know that she felt safe and secure here with her BHO family. Rest Peacefully, Nancy ... of anyone I've ever known, you deserve it.

This old world and BHO and I will miss her kindness.
Rest in peace.
I hope she will rest in peace and always be remembered by th BHO community.
Very sad news indeed. The Hangout was always a brighter place when she posted here.
May she R.I.P.
Nancy will truly be missed. She was so open and kind to all. May she rest in peace.
Nancy radiated kindness through her words - and her words showed that she radiated kindness through her deeds.
We are the better for having known her, even if only via the Internet.
May she, the companion and her beloved dogs now walk together, forever young, in a place of love.
Indeed she will be missed and finally will be at peace. I am thankful that she did not suffer a long and extended illness and is now resting in in the everlasting arms.
She was the first person from the HangOut to contact me.
And, she bought one of my cookie-tin banjos.
I shall pick for her the same song I played at the funeral of the uncle who gave me his old banjo, and started me down this path.
My version was off a KINGSTON TRIO album, but they haven't got it on Youtube.
This guy does it, with somewhat different lyrics:
Such sad news. Nancy, you touched the hearts of so many here and elsewhere. The care you gave was echoed by the care given to you by your community. "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make."
Rest in peace. You are missed.
Wow !!! I only knew her through the BHO and some shared private messages, just like the rest of you, but this is a shocker and I am a
little verklempt right now !!! She was quite a lady and one of a kind in mind and spirit !!! Would have loved to have sat on the front porch for a chat in person with her. Would have been a hoot I'm sure . "Good People " as she would say. R.I.P. Nancy, will miss you here on the BHO !!!!!!!!
I am really shocked.
Heartfelt condolences to the family!
Rest in peace, Nancy!
No doubt, Kenny (Ingram) and Nancy are having a great time together!
