I don’t know about now, but I have a friend who lives in Europe and attempted to contact Prucha last year, way before the pandemic. Got no reply after a couple of tries and gave up. ... He just bought a Capek, and said Rosta Capek was great to deal with.

A phone call to Greg Boyd's House of Fine Instruments ... (406) 327-9925 ... should not only provide an answer relative to Prucha ... but if you're lucky enough to talk with Greg you're in for a treat.

Sent a couple of emails now with no reply. Looks like there is no one monitoring their email which is odd for a business.

The Greg Boyd site says they are doing business but playing things safe, so . . .

I think that Prucha is still in biz. I received an instrument in January, and I've spoken to somebody who received one in May or June. They're slow to respond to e-mail, but their instruments are so excellent that they're worth the trouble. My suggestion is to be persistent, maybe send another e-mail.

Jarda's mother died this year. He is open for business but between that and the pandemic things are a little less punctual.
