Listing here Tradesman  Thought one or two HO members might be interested.  Bid now at $355, 3 days left. Not in the description, but it looks like it has a pickup installed.   Usual disclaimers - no interest in this, etc.    Just a thought...shipping is only $12.95, so if you bid and get it at a bargain price you might offer to throw in a little extra to get have it packaged correctly/safely.

Shhhh! Let’s not advertise this. I’m under the mistaken hope that I am the only one who’s seen this! ;-)

Besides, I can drive to Birmingham to pick it up. The last time I shipped a Tradesman in a gig bag, they snapped the neck clean off!

It got me thinking... next instrument I sell, I’m gonna keep it in the garbage for a week before posting it. It’ll add a ton to the final sale price! ??

I live in BHAM and wouldn’t go to the pawn shop to look at it.
I was also wondering how he intended to sanitize it .... ?

I was watching this and bowed out at $750. Can't believe it sold so high considering how grubby it looked in the pics.

@the-fish I was tempted to think that, too. But whoever bought it, if they clean it up carefully, will still have a truly wonderful banjo, at an okay price... 2/3 of original price.

I was curious about the pickup, too, not that I've played on any stage (or with any living person) in months.

The price was so low up until the lat 24 hours that I was hoping for a fabulous deal (and that I’d be the lucky winner.) In my mind, I’d be spending a few happy days cleaning it up and setting it up, trying it through an amp & a PA, looking at preamps... (Sniff) I miss it already...
